We offer procedures to treat both old and new scars.

Acne Scars
We offer several treatment options to smooth or soften acne scars; from those that require no downtime, to more complex solutions.

Subscision
This method utilizes microincision to treat scars. During microincision a laser is used to disrupt scar tissue. This allows the skin to return to its normal flat contour. Generally, several subscision sessions are necessary for optimal results. Typically areas on the forehead and nose respond better.

Chemical Peels
We offer a variety of peeling agents to treat scars. They are especially effective for treating small surface scars. We can also administer light chemical peels to multiple surface scars. Treatment is effective. In addition we can apply a combination of peels to treat aging. Chemical peels are beneficial for treating areas other than the face that are resistant to laser treatment.

Fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse)
We no longer administer collagen injections. We now successfully fill in scars using the following fillers: Restylane, Juvederm, and Radiesse.

Lasers
Depending on the type of scar, we have several lasers for scars.  These include Nd/Yag, IPL, and CO2 laser.  The treatment is best determined by the treating physician.
