History of
Clear Medical:
Located in the UCLA / Marina Professional Building overlooking
the California Yacht Club that makes Marina del Rey one of the
most beautiful hidden gems of the Beverly Hills, Brentwood and
Santa Monica area.
Clear Medical's roots began In 2002. An ambitious
dermatologist in Santa Monica, physician and
entrepreneur established Skin Rejuvenation and Laser
Center; one of Los Angeles' & Marina del Rey's original Medical
Spas offering laser hair removal, Photofacials using
Intense Pulse Light technology (IPL), microdermabrasion , and
many other medical and spa services at some of the most
affordable prices in Los Angeles!
In 2004, Bernard Raskin M.D. a
board certified dermatologist in Santa Monica and UCLA professor of dermatology
purchased the practice and named it Creating Beauty Laser
Center Marina del Rey. With his vast knowledge and
expertise he expanded services to include advanced dermatologic
procedures like treating adult acne with photo dynamic therapy,
treating spider veins on the face and legs, Mohs surgery,
rosacea, melasma, and melanoma just to name a few.
With a thriving dermatology
practice in Santa Clarita it became difficult to devote the time
needed for both practices, so procedures were performed by a
talented staff of nurses, physician assistants, and
dermatologist in Santa Monica. In 2006
Creating Beauty Laser Center teamed up with the doctors of Clear Medical.
Unlike
med-spas, Clear Medical is staffed by full time
physicians trained in the latest advances in medical
lasers, medical wellness, age-management and anti-aging
treatments like the
